Meet Sonya & Simon
Welly Explorers has been created with lots of love, thought and one very important thing at the heart of every decision – our children.
Located in Wellsford, Sonya’s vision was to create a beautiful, welcoming centre that feels warm and homely while giving children wonderful spaces to learn, play, explore and grow.
From the design and fit-out to all the little finishing touches, every space has been thoughtfully considered with children in mind. Sonya loves creating environments that are not only beautiful, but practical, engaging and somewhere children and whānau genuinely feel they belong.
Simon lends his hand to the outdoor spaces and is always there for the building, fixing and maintenance jobs that help keep everything looking its best!
Together with the wonderful Welly team, Sonya and Simon are incredibly proud of the community that continues to grow here – a place filled with happy children, caring teachers and plenty of heart.
